Questions
Is the framework free?
Yes. Pylon the framework is open source under MIT/Apache and free to self-host anywhere — it's one binary, so a small VPS is enough. Pylon Cloud is the optional managed way to run it.
What counts as a request?
Any HTTP request or sync message your app serves. Live WebSocket subscriptions are efficient — a single connection streaming diffs counts far lighter than equivalent polling — so realtime apps go a long way on the included quota.
What happens if I exceed my plan?
Hobby projects autostop when idle and resume on the next request. On Pro, bigger machines, extra replicas, and larger volumes are billed at the underlying compute rate for what you actually run — no surprise per-seat fees.
Can I move between self-hosted and Cloud?
Yes. The Cloud runtime is the exact binary you run locally, so there's no lock-in. Deploy to your own VPS, to Cloud, or both — the app is identical.
Do you offer SSO and SAML?
On Pro and Enterprise. Configure OIDC or SAML SSO at the org level from the dashboard. Magic-link and 25+ OAuth providers are available on every plan.
What's included in Enterprise?
